Pepper Hamilton LLP Brings Relativity In-house

kCura , developers of the e-discovery software Relativity , today announced that Pepper Hamilton has licensed Relativity. As a fully featured, web-based e-discovery platform, Relativity allows users to create and automate custom workflows, take advantage of a complete set of text analytics capabilities including computer-assisted review, and make use of fully integrated processing capabilities—so case teams can ingest data and begin review quickly without leaving the system.

“We selected Relativity after a thorough assessment of the e-discovery technology marketplace, during which we targeted a platform that would be flexible enough to accommodate highly customized workflows for cases of all varieties and data volumes,” said Jason Lichter, director of discovery services and litigation support for Pepper Hamilton. “It was vital that any system we adopted be capable of identifying the most critical documents sooner in the discovery lifecycle, ideally within a single end-to-end environment that provides comprehensive tracking from beginning to end for defensibility purposes.”

Because Pepper Hamilton deals with a wide range of cases, they looked for software that could offer the flexibility and scalability to efficiently handle each unique matter.
