Litigation support and technology consultancy Legal Inc has announced a major upgrade of its premium scanning service, with a six-figure investment program trebling capacity. The move comes in response to growing demand for an offering that is well regarded for its quality control, precision and speed of turnaround.
Legal Inc director Lisa Burton comments: “We have never sought to compete with the high-volume scanning shops in the market, and ours is still a modest operation by comparison, but clients come to us for when they need the very optimum in terms of output and process – clearly defined workflow, technical proficiency, meticulous attention to detail and accuracy, full audit trails and movement logs, all combining to deliver a complete and coherent set of scanned material. This significant up-scaling of premises, people and technology will enable us to handle not just more work but more complex jobs while maintaining the same high values and standards.”
That those values and standards are class-leading would seem to be confirmed by the fact that Legal Inc’s scanning reputation is already travelling beyond the litigation sector - a department within Oxford University recently entrusted the consultancy with a project to scan the scholarly catalogue of an ancient papyrological archive!
