ILTACON, that one week in August the whole legaltech industry is looking forward to. Besides the hundreds of sessions there are many vendors making announcements about new products and services they introduce at ILTACON. We talked to some of them at the show.
HighQ’s Chief Product & Strategy Officer Stuart Bar talked about the recent acquisition of Legal Anywhere and the fact that the company was positioned as a Visionary in Gardner’s 2018 Magic Quadrant for Content Collaboration Platforms. On the product side Stuart mentioned the recently announced AI hub with Kira as launch partner, the development of Publisher and Collaborate into one new platform (to be expected by the end of the year) and the new workflow engine. DocsCorp co-founder and President Dean Sappey explained all about the new integration between the DocsCorp products and the newest version of iManage Work (10.2). DocsCorp software will also be able to auto-update using the new feature of iManage Work. On the roadmap users can expect new features like the support for stylus devices. VIDEO
Curt Meltzer, Vice President of Strategic Relationships at Workshare explained what can be expected of the recently announced partnership with iManage, the advanced ability to compare Microsoft Excel files, the new Compare Server tool and more roadmap updates. VIDEO
Mark Garnish, CTO at Tikit explains what can be expected from the new Intelligent Time feature (no, not another artificial intelligence announcement, just some clever algorithms) that will be introduced to Carpe Diem soon. A simple way for attorneys to create time records. VIDEO
We also met Dan Anderson, CEO of SeeUnity, the content integration experts providing in-depth solutions to connect, sync, or migrate data across on-premise or cloud-based ECM solutions with external business applications. The company is announcing new case studies at ILTACON and Dan talked with Legal IT Professionals about the details. VIDEO
We also talked to NetDocuments new CEO Josh Baxter. Josh explained how the NetDocuments platform is the only proven Cloud platform based on the billions of items, millions of daily searches and despite this huge numbers, the stable performance. Josh also talks about the new data loss prevention features of the platform that will be available later this year. VIDEO
