BRYTER, the no-code automation platform, announces its partnership with global law firm DLA Piper as part of the firm’s Radical Change Programme which embraces innovation and new technologies that advances its traditional structure and expectations as a law firm.
Empowering lawyers globally to create innovative client solutions
BRYTER, through its intuitive and easy-to-use no-code platform, empowers fee-earners to build digital solutions themselves without any programming experience. The simple “point and click” visual editor enables legal and regulatory experts to visualize workflows, and design and prototype client solutions, significantly reducing development efforts.
Adopting this tool gives all fee-earners across all practice areas the power to deliver innovative client solutions themselves. DLA Piper’s team is using the technology to encourage the development of skillsets and knowledge that can enhance the value they offer clients, and to prepare the next generation of lawyers for the law firm of the future. BRYTER empowers DLA Piper’s lawyers to get first-hand experience with turning their ideas into powerful digital solutions, and enables them to learn, experiment, and be creative — ultimately equipping them to provide the best service to their clients.
Getting down to the business of building
DLA Piper’s approach to new service offerings is heavily rooted in its clients: the firm partners with customers as consultants to co-create the solutions they need, and they have wasted no time in building and launching client applications with BRYTER.
Last month, the firm launched a Diversity and Inclusion index, a tool to assist organizations in identifying the key areas of focus for the social aspects of their ESG framework which takes only a few minutes and generates a report that can be used for benchmarking. DLA Piper is also currently developing further products in its litigation and pro bono teams as well as gathering much broader interest across the firm.
Michael Grupp, CEO of BRYTER, says: “We are thrilled to be working with DLA Piper, which has innovation as part of its DNA, and which has clearly set out to achieve radical change in order to deliver value for its clients. Within months of first using BRYTER, the team has already launched its first client application, and we’re looking forward to seeing many more innovative solutions emerge from a range of practice areas.”
Charlotte Johnstone, Change Driver at DLA Piper, says: “We’re on a journey with BRYTER. We understand that tomorrow’s lawyer and tomorrow’s client will be very different from how they look today. Future lawyers are looking to enhance their skillsets, and our clients’ needs have evolved and will keep evolving. Using BRYTER as part of our innovation drive addresses both issues at once. It offers our lawyers another skill to master that will serve them in their careers and it empowers our clients to co-create solutions with us.”
