AccessData, a pioneer of digital investigations and litigation support, today announces the release of AD eDiscovery 5.0, a new version of the company’s end to end e-discovery platform that aims to streamline clients’ workflows and support the diverse collection sources associated with modern e-discovery.
AD eDiscovery is AccessData’s holistic e-discovery solution that integrates comprehensive litigation hold, collection and early case assessment features with the advanced final review functionality of AccessData’s flagship review tool, Summation. It covers the entire e-discovery lifecycle, from litigation hold to final review and production, and all EDRM stages in between, in one platform. With the new release AD eDiscovery supports collection from an expanding and diverse range of data sources with customized connectors for collection from Gmail Corporate, LiveLink (OpenText) repositories, Exchange 2013, Exchange Online/Office 365 and FileNet repositories. The new version also focuses on improving the efficiency of e-discovery processes for corporate e-discovery teams, including a new “evidence tracker” that associates external evidence with multiple matters, so data can be loaded once and then tracked and reused across cases, and a reusable collection wizard to quickly associate data from a previous collection to a new matter by custodian.
Along with the above capabilities, AD eDiscovery also incorporates the full functionality of the recently released Summation 5.0, which features the addition of AccessData’s internally developed predictive coding technology, visual analytics and enhanced email threading, as well as radically improved performance and speed. These features allow AD eDiscovery 5.0 to offer legal teams even more powerful and innovative solutions to the problems of ever-growing data sets and caseloads.
“AD eDiscovery 5.0 is designed to support a corporate legal department’s e-discovery workflow totally,” stated AccessData President and COO Brian Karney. “We recognize that teams are dealing with diverse data sources, skyrocketing numbers of matters and the exponential growth of the data involved in litigation. We believe this release helps legal departments cope with these very real business problems.”
