Stewarts Law, the UK's largest litigation only law firm has implemented market leading Copitrak Secure Print as part of an initiative to drive cost efficiency and improve security across its print and document workflow environment.
The decision follows an internal systems review led by the IT team at Stewarts Law. After a successful proof of concept, they concluded that the Copitrak solution was a stronger alternative to their existing technology as it was both user-friendly and technically easier to manage. The deployment of the software is aimed to further decrease print costs and improve security throughout their UK offices.
For greater productivity and business efficiency Copitrak Secure Print will be integrated within the firms existing fleet of MFDs and has been integrated with the firm’s existing eCopy ShareScan solution giving users a seamless user experience when printing and scanning.
James Mead, Head of IT at Stewarts Law explained, “While popular ‘cost recovery’ motives continue to be at odds with the ethos of Stewarts Law, document security and analysis of usage trends is considered critical to controlling costs and reducing waste, while also providing useful insight from a risk management perspective. The firm’s legacy system was failing to deliver the desired level of reporting or control and was increasingly challenging to maintain. The Nikec team worked efficiently alongside our incumbent managed print service provider and our internal IT team to deliver a proof of concept. The firm very quickly elected to take the opportunity to deploy the system firm-wide as part of a general MFD and printer fleet refresh project”.
Damian Jeal, Vice President Global Sales, said “It is very rewarding for us to provide Stewarts Law with solutions that will help improve their business and workflow environment. Recognising the inherent cost, security and productivity benefits of these solutions is what makes Stewarts Law innovative, responsive, committed and cutting edge”.
