Two new wins for DPS Software

Leading legal technology expert DPS Software announced two new wins. Both Josiah Hincks Solicitors and Ward & Rider Solicitors selected DPS One Office.

Josiah Hincks Solicitors

Established in 1927, Josiah Hincks Solicitors are a law firm who provide a full range of legal services across a diverse client base from farmers and builders to churches and charities.  The firm has five branch offices in Leicester and the surrounding areas and continues to grow thanks to an ingenious combination of management and IT solutions and skills.

Having used their incumbent practice management system for over 10 years and having to replace their servers, Josiah Hincks set off to review their technology. They have looked at alternative solutions on the market that would allow them to improve their processes and output. ‘’DPS One Office works smart. We particularly like the email integration and electronic bundling features – which we have identified as key efficiency drivers for our staff.’’  explained Tim Eagle, the Finance and Accounts Manager at Josiah Hincks Solicitors. They saw the DPS system as moving one step beyond practice management and right into the realms of business management.  Tim further commented, “In this competitive environment we need a tool that binds the business and take care of our needs from the opening of a case to the client survey at the end of a matter.”

Ward & Rider Solicitors

Ward & Rider Solicitors based in Coventry and Warwickshire are fully Lexcel accredited and boast very high client satisfaction rates- Over 97% of past and present clients would recommend them to others and almost 100% would use them again. They too replaced their incumbent practice management system and chose DPS.

Realising that their existing practice management software couldn’t keep up with their requirements, was limited in terms of 3rd party integrations, did not integrate fully with Outlook , Ward & Rider decided to review their IT.  After a very long Geoff Hart-Ward & Rider Solicitorsand detailed selection process, DPS’s One Office solution was chosen for many reasons but particularly due to its Outlook integration which means that the system was already familiar to any user that had Outlook. The way emails are being automatically associated to the right file and costed was also impressive and screamed efficiency. The 100 user strong company, which now has two offices, covering Coventry, Leamington and Warwickshire is using DPS’s case management software for their Family, Wills & Probate, and PI departments.

Additionally, the immediate view of ledgers and ability to raise billing requests and electronic chits certainly boosted efficiency.”

A key factor for both firms was this full and unambiguous integration of Case and Accounts into one seamless practice management solution with a 360 degree visibility of the case for all the users that have security access.

The ability for fee earners to view ledgers cards, post chits and see the financial state of their matter from their working platform was key to managing their performance now and for growing the practice in the future.
