Leading New Orleans law firm chooses Relativity as e-discovery platform for custom workflows and text analytics
kCura, developers of the e-discovery software Relativity, today announced that Jones Walker has licensed Relativity from Iris Data Services, a Relativity Certified Reseller, for deployment in the law firm’s hosted Discovery Management environment.
As a fully featured, web-based e-discovery platform, Relativity provides Jones Walker with the flexibility to create and automate custom workflows to fit the needs of the firm’s case teams. Jones Walker will also make use of Relativity’s complete set of text analytics capabilities—including computer-assisted review—and can build custom applications within the software to manage and search all types of case-related data and information.
“Client service is our number one goal at Jones Walker—and Relativity provides the foundation for our firm to meet and exceed client expectations,” said Ruark Chick, CIO at Jones Walker. “From advanced analytics and searching options to the ease of creating custom workflows, Relativity allows us to provide value-driven service in support of our clients. In addition to improving efficiencies for case teams in cross-office matters, Relativity provides the means for our firm to collaborate with our clients, experts, and co-counsel by providing secure access to case documents.”
“Iris will host Jones Walker’s Relativity environment in our secure, SSAE 16-certified data center, and manage the associated technical infrastructure and storage,” said Major Baisden, president of Iris Data Services. “In addition to taking advantage of Iris’ Relativity and consulting expertise, Jones Walker will greatly benefit from the enhancements we provide, such as Iris’ case management services, custom reporting, and foreign language translation.”
“We are excited that Jones Walker chose Relativity,” said Andrew Sieja, president and CEO of kCura. “We look forward to providing them with a platform that will help them deliver a great experience for their users.”
