@Legal Discovery, LLC, an end-to-end eDiscovery technology provider, announced today significant improvements to the company’s infrastructure, including a new and highly redundant Storage Area Network to accommodate all of the company’s clients’ data for years to come, a new server farm with extensive capacity to run the @Legal CasePoint platform, and data center transfer rates of more than 10 GB per second.
The new infrastructure maintains @Legal’s SAS 70 Type II and SSAE 16 certifications for continued stability and security.
In addition, the company has added sophisticated monitoring and remediation tools to identify anomalous network trends, so the @Legal team can address them before they become problems for clients. The company is also now able to provide online and near-line storage of customer data and can provision new servers for additional data storage within just a few minutes.
With the company’s enhanced data transfer rate, clients will be able to see documents for review in CasePoint much faster, which ultimately results in more efficient review times. Increased speed also means @Legal can process more data in less time, which will decrease lead time for clients to make legal decisions about the data at hand. The company’s extensive server capacity can accommodate thousands of CasePoint users at any point in time. Clients can easily have their data moved from online to near-line storage in order to provide more hosting and archiving options within CasePoint. All of these improvements will lead to a better client experience with optimized speeds and on-demand data capacity in a highly secure environment.
“In the past year, @Legal has expanded its processing, storage and user support by a factor of ten,” said Vishal Rajpara, @Legal Discovery, LLC co-founder and Executive Vice President. “We have made these improvements now in order to exceed our clients’ expectations when it comes to service delivery. Coupled with our ISO 9001:2008 certification, it is clear that state-of-the-art technology is an important component of our strategic vision. As the number of clients we work with grows and the amount of data their cases involve expands, we now have the infrastructure in place to stay well ahead of these demands.”
