Litera®, a platinum sponsor of the International Legal Technology Association’s 36th Annual Educational Conference held August 18 to 22 in Las Vegas, today announced it will unveil ILTA’s first peer-powered, co-authored document, deliver multiple sessions as well as demonstrate its productivity and risk management solutions for the legal industry.
Litera will host a variety of events and educational sessions, including Norm Thomas and Sherry Kappel's much anticipated Solution Spotlight: Litera Galaxy. In addition to discussing Litera’s new cyber-secure portal solution for matter collaboration, she will share the first release of ILTA’s living document, “The Definitive Guide to the Implementation of Collaboration Methods and Technologies in Law Practice". This primer and collection of best practices was contributed to by more than 112 ILTA members who attended serially-delivered roadshows in 52 cities to “collaborate on collaboration” and share their first-hand experiences.
Carol Hall, Chief Information Officer at Polsinelli PC, will be speaking about her company’s experiences implementing server-based metadata removal tool Metadact-e in a panel-based discussion, “Are You Secure? Server-Side Metadata Removal Tools,” taking place on Wednesday 21 August from 3:30 to 4:30. Sherry Kappel, Chief Consiliaria at Litera, will also present a 90 minute session on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. titled “Making it a Smaller World: What it Takes to Deploy Microsoft Office Globally.”
Litera will also host sessions on the hot topics on secure file sharing, mobile lawyers and metadata, and speeding content assembly.
Litera’s comprehensive suite of document creation, collaboration, comparison, control, cleansing, and content sharing solutions will be exhibited at booth #508/510 and in their demo room.
Litera will be hosting a number of social events and will be the primary sponsor of the Legal Bytes concert immediately preceding the opening of the event hall on Monday evening.
