Traveling Coaches, the internationally recognized training, application configuration and user adoption consulting partner to law firms and corporate legal departments, announced that Birmingham-based Bradley Arant Boult Cummings purchased a combination of consulting and training services as well as the popular Office 2010 User Adoption Materials and CLASS and CLASSe content to ensure rapid and complete user adoption of Office 2010 and associated third-party applications.
“Partnering with Traveling Coaches provides Bradley Arant Boult Cummings access to world class, legal industry, training materials and services. This allows us to focus our internal resources on building a more effective and efficient next generation MS Office and Windows desktop”, notes Michael Blix, Training and Development Manager at Bradley Arant.
Traveling Coaches provided user adoption and communications consulting services to help the Bradley Arant Boult Cummings team plan and implement a project geared for successful change. Additionally, Traveling Coaches will deliver IT support staff training, user training, floor support and project management services to Bradley Arant Boult Cummings, supplementing the firm’s talented training and support team to achieve a smooth rollout and transition.
Traveling Coaches’ industry-leading CLASS (Continued Learning and Software Skills) program is a collection of modular, legal specific and customizable technology training materials. Since its introduction ten years ago, the popular CLASS program has been implemented by 267 law firms and corporate legal departments consisting of more than 121,000 users. As CLASS provides the materials for traditional classroom instruction, CLASSe facilitates a different style of training: just-in-time eLearning. A collection of short, interactive, online lessons called CLASSe Briefs, this program is ideal for busy lawyers and staff who need to learn how to accomplish specific tasks “on the fly.”
CLASS currently consists of 401 classroom modules and CLASSe includes 3,061 eLearning lessons, both products covering topics from Microsoft Office applications to document management systems and Word productivity tools. The materials are customizable and designed to be used for university-style training programs. CLASSe Briefs are drawn from CLASS curriculum and offer the same high level of quality and consistency. By purchasing both products, Bradley Arant Boult Cummings will provide learners with a consistent training message through the instructor, reference materials and eLearning lessons.
“We are proud to partner with Bradley Arant on their Office 2010 project and have enjoyed working closely with their team,” said Gina Buser, Chief Executive Officer for Traveling Coaches. “We are eager to share our experience with hundreds of firms and tens of thousands of users to make this rollout a successful experience for both users and the project team alike.”
