Nomination Stems from the Firm’s Work with Acrowire to Instill Lean Six Sigma Practices in a Legal Environment
Acrowire, a strategic business and legal technology consulting company, today announced that its client, the Hunoval Law Firm, has been recognized for its utilization of Lean Six Sigma with a nomination for a PEX Week 2014 Process Excellence (PEX) Award.
The firm, which implemented its overall Lean Six Sigma practices with the guidance of Acrowire, is competing against well-known companies including Capital One and Pitney Bowes for the award of “Best Process Improvement Project (Under 90 Days).” This award recognizes the impact of short-cycle projects and quick wins for businesses. The Hunoval Law Firm was nominated for this award based on its industry-tailored work to improve legal pleading defects.
Matt Hunoval, the firm’s founder, will also lead a session at the conference that focuses on how data- and metric-driven Lean Six Sigma is propelling client results and revolutionizing the legal field.
“While many law firms face challenges with adopting business best practices, the Hunoval Law Firm exemplifies a true innovator in the field of legal adoption of Lean Six Sigma,” said Ted Theodoropoulos, president of Acrowire. “We congratulate Hunoval on its dedication to improving critical legal processes and the accomplishments it has attained – such as enhanced client service and retaining key talent – through its adoption.”
For more than 15 years, PEX Week has offered process professionals at all levels within organizations the opportunity to learn, share and network. The winners of the PEX Week Awards will be announced on Jan. 21 at the conference held in Orlando, Fla.
