Consilio, a global leader in eDiscovery, document review, risk management, and legal consulting services, announced today that Farhat Jabeen has joined the firm as Vice President in New York.
Farhat will be responsible for the firm’s APAC and cross-border business development and report directly to Meredith Kildow, Managing Director and Senior Vice President of Global Revenue Organization.
“As our clientele continues to grow around the world, it is vital that we continue to grow our cross-border offerings and expertise to meet their growing needs,” said Kildow. “Farhat’s career has been focused on cross-border business development efforts across the U.S. and Asia Pacific region. Her extensive experience in eDiscovery, document review, risk management, and consulting will provide immense value to a region of growing importance for our clients.”
Farhat brings 8 years of experience in client advisory on cross-border investigations, FCPA and anti-corruption matters, whistleblower allegations, and complex litigation. She previously lived and worked in Hong Kong and China focusing primarily on cross-border, multi-language matters in response to requests from the DoJ, SEC, and other U.S. and international government regulators. Farhat has worked on numerous document intensive, electronic data focused projects and managed review exercises in countries including China, Japan, Taiwan, Thailand, and India.
Prior to joining Consilio, Farhat was a Director in Compliance and Forensics & Intelligence practice with Control Risks. She has also worked for McDermott Will & Emery and Merrill Corporation. Farhat is a member of the American Bar Association (ABA), Association of Certified eDiscovery Specialists (ACEDS), and Women in eDiscovery (WiE).
