Amberlo, a cloud-based legal case management software for law firms of all sizes, has launched in Poland. The system is already used by over 1,000 low offices throughout the world to digitize several routine tasks and processes, including the comprehensive management of legal cases, contacts, documents, and group work, as well as to register and settle working hours.
As Amberlo assures, the savings resulting from the digitization of these areas bring law firms over a 1,000% ROI in just one year.
Digital transformation in the legal industry has been making its way toward widespread technology adoption for recent years, but the Covid-19 crisis has sped this process up dramatically. Just like most of the world, law firms have also made the transition to a work-from-home environment, depending more than ever on technology to drive efficiency and connect employees. Not surprisingly, for companies as Amberlo, a Lithuania-based startup launched in 2017, the last few months have been a time of very rapid growth.
"During the pandemic, many law firms finally decided to try out specialized IT solutions and saw that they work and enable a quick return on investment. In the case of Amberlo, it reaches over 1,000% in the first year of use! This is mainly due to the time savings that legal chancellors achieve by digitizing and automating their processes and work using our system," said Aidas Kavaliauskas, CEO and one of the Amberlo founders.
As Kavaliauskas explains, Amberlo is an entirely new generation of software for law firms. It combines affordability (the premium version costs about PLN 130 per user, per month), ease of use, as well as an extensive set of features that have been scattered across many different programs until now.
Using Amberlo you can digitize areas such as the management of cases, contacts, documents, calendars, as well as all e-mail correspondence of all employees concerning a specific legal matter and client. The system also facilitates group work (divided into roles), registration of working time, and also enables easy invoicing of customers, which includes flexible determination of hourly rates and issuing invoices with a report settling tasks divided into hours.
With Amberlo you can also generate many other reports to show the efficiency of employees or the profitability of cases. All this from anywhere in the world and on any device.
Amberlo decided to debut in Poland prompted by earlier interest from many Polish law firms that started to use the solution while searching for legal software in the global market. One such company was law firm Kancelaria Macura, providing legal services to entrepreneurs from financial and new technology sectors.
"We have been looking for software that would help us manage our office and increase the efficiency of our work for a long time. Until recently, our law firm's tasks were distributed via e-mail, making it challenging to prioritize them and track progress. Each employee was tracking time using a separate excel file and reporting once a month, so we were losing some hours every month. At the end of each month, we were creating invoices manually, spending the entire day," said Monika Macura, founder at Kancelaria Macura.
As Macura points out, Amberlo had excellent opinions among law firms on the global market, hence the decision to try this solution, which turned out to be a hit. The system helped to automate activities such as task planning, working time registration, and invoicing. As a result, the law firm was able to devote more time to customer service, which translated into a minimum of 25% increase in its earnings.
Amberlo, before its official launch on the Polish market, was entirely located. The company has also created a support team dedicated to Polish customers It takes a few minutes to implement the software, and you can try the program for free.
