Wolters Kluwer announces new Vice President and Managing Director of Legal & Regulatory Benelux

Wolters Kluwer Legal & Regulatory (LR), a global leader in information, software, and services for legal professionals, today announced that Rimco Spanjer will succeed Bas Kniphorst as Vice President and Managing Director of LR Benelux.

Spanjer has served as CEO of Dutch educational publisher Malmberg since 2019, but previously spent two decades working for Wolters Kluwer across a variety of executive leadership positions. He will rejoin the company effective August 1, 2023. 

Kniphost, meanwhile, has been promoted to Executive Vice President and Managing Director for Wolters Kluwer Tax & Accounting (TAA) Europe. The promotion follows a highly successful tenure leading the Benelux business over the past three years.

Combined with his recent accomplishments as Malmberg’s CEO, we’re confident that he will be an asset to our division and Wolters Kluwer as a whole.”
