Business Development Manager, Maikel Dorssers, transitioned from years of employment in large-scale companies to the smaller, agile setting of Transform Data. He commenced his role as the new Business Development Manager on August 1st of this year.
Previously employed at ISPNext in Den Bosch, Maikel worked as a sales executive, primarily focused on digitalisation for SME+ entities. His responsibilities included overseeing digitalisation processes for tasks such as invoicing and spend analytics. His clientele encompassed significant healthcare institutions, legal firms, and financial companies. Drawing parallels to Transform Data's client portfolio, Maikel states, "I am familiar with the language of these clients and industries. Effective communication on their terms is essential. In the rapidly evolving realm of digitalisation, continuous learning is imperative."
Equally vital to establishing rapport with customers is the capacity to trust one's team, asserts Maikel. He underscores, "What I present to customers must be delivered by my colleagues." Such trust is firmly established with his new employer. "I conducted comprehensive research before our discussions. Transform Data boasts a strong reputation and a multitude of content clients."
Opting for a more intimate company scale also facilitates a familial ambience. Maikel affirms, "The atmosphere resonated positively with me from the outset. Despite maintaining a highly professional setting, there's an air of relaxation and camaraderie. This aspect is immensely meaningful to me. Seamless cooperation breeds success. Additionally, the lunches are delightful, featuring fresh pasta and, on Friday afternoons, accompanied by a glass of wine."
