Thomson Reuters Elite, part of the Legal business of Thomson Reuters, today announced the release of 3E® MatterSphere® (formerly MatterSphere®) 8.0, which introduces a number of enhancements that improve integration between MatterSphere and other solutions.
MatterSphere, which is an integral component of the 3E Enterprise Business Management Solution, is the complete matter and client management solution that can be used within Microsoft® Word to help lawyers work more efficiently.
Most notably, 3E MatterSphere 8.0 will offer better integration with 3E so users can save time by viewing 3E data directly in the MatterSphere Command Centre. In addition, document management integration options offer enhanced features and the ability to integrate with more third party systems. For example, lawyers can now work with NetDocuments® from within MatterSphere, making it easy to see, open, and save documents.
MatterSphere 8.0 also provides refinements to the data sync process that help keep the 3E and MatterSphere databases in sync. Now, updates in one system automatically roll to the other. Also, the number of fields and entities has increased to provide a more thorough sync between the databases.
Additional enhancements in MatterSphere 8.0 include updates to task plans that offer increased flexibility and efficiency, enhanced search accuracy and indexing performance in the native document management system, and a new 64-bit installation option.
