NetDocuments, the leading secure cloud-based content services platform for law firms and corporate legal and compliance departments, today released statistics highlighting the company’s customer growth and continued rapid global market adoption.
Now managing over 10 billion documents across 2,500 global customer firms, NetDocuments global cloud service continues to add, on average, 1.5 new customer firms per day. Successful implementations are also on record pace with more than 16,000 professionals across 350 customer firms having gone live on NetDocuments in the last 12 months.
The 2018 year-to-date numbers include 238 new customer firms and law departments, 500 new users per week, switching from competitive on-premises or hosted document management technologies to the NetDocuments content services platform. This includes numerous migrations from iManage, OpenText, Worldox and other legal DMS legacy systems.
In addition to new customers, existing customer firms have added over 2,000 professionals to the platform through organic growth and firm/office acquisitions. NetDocuments’ new products of ndMail™ for predictive email filing and ndThread™ for matter-based conversations and collaboration have been adopted by more than 85 existing customer firms with an additional 125 looking to add productivity products in 2018.
In terms of ‘go-lives’, large law firms now up and running on the NetDocuments platform include: BakerHostetler; Brooks Pierce; Haynes and Boone; Orrick; Segal McCambridge Singer & Mahoney; Travers Smith; and Wiggin and Dana. These represent over 7,000 legal professionals worldwide and join the more than 16,000 professionals and 350 customer firms mentioned above.
Unlike some technology models where a new hosted instance is required for each new customer, all NetDocuments firms get folded into the global platform with the immediate advantage of leveraging NetDocuments security, usability and innovation.
With 20% of the Am Law 100 now running on the NetDocuments’ single instance cloud platform, making it the most mature cloud platform in legal technology, adoption among law firms and law departments of all sizes continues to climb.
“NetDocuments customer firms are seeing firm-wide adoption of NetDocuments that exceeds 85% on average,” Josh Baxter, CEO at NetDocuments said. “With the NetDocuments platform, all customers benefit from a single global instance of software regardless of service location or optional local data storage via ndFlexStore™. Storage flexibility and platform-wide solutions that drive personal productivity while protecting firm data are cited as key elements that add to the ease of deployment and incredible adoption rates as firms go live on the platform.”
“The legal technology landscape is changing as the vast majority of law firms now have a cloud strategy and are looking to adopt the technology wherever possible,” stated Marc Duncan, VP of Strategic Sales. “However, there are very few true cloud platforms and vendors so NetDocuments has emerged and sustained as the trusted and mature leader in cloud computing with the most mature platform by nearly two decades.”
Law firms and corporate legal departments are embracing the cloud across the business and are increasingly selecting NetDocuments as the tried-and-true platform with a proven record of delivering a world-class service, protecting a firm’s digital assets and driving individual productivity.
“It’s these ingredients, experience and trust in the market that are motivating firms to select NetDocuments and partner with us to move their practice forward,” added Marc Duncan.
