ILTACON, that one week in August the whole legaltech industry is looking forward to. Besides the hundreds of sessions there are many vendors making announcements about new products and services they introduce at ILTACON. We interviewed some of them at the show on video.
Prosperoware
Prosperoware recently announced their CAM platform, a platform helping law firms manage their content stored in different cloud-based systems. Ben Weinberger - Lawyer in Residence at Prosperoware - talked with Legal IT Professionals about all the innovative features of CAM and how law firms benefit from it.

World Software Corporation is announcing their brand-new version of Worldox at the show. CEO Ray Zwiefelhofer talked with Legal IT Professionals to explain what can be expected of the new version. He also talked about a shift in client expectations happening over the last couple of years: software features are not that important anymore, nowadays it’s all about security … and security!
We also had a chance to talk to iManage’s CMO Dan Carmel. He spoke with us about the new features of Work 10 and iManage Drive, a new add-in module for iManage Work that enables professionals to manage documents inside iManage Work as easily as if it’s a hard drive. Dan also touched upon Information Governance and Security and of course about the RAVN side of the business: artificial intelligence.
We also ran into Ishan Girdhar, CEO of risk management technology provider Privva. Ishan will feature in an educational session where he will address security audits and talk about the most recent security trends.
WindTalker is debuting at ILTACON with a fascinating new product that lets people secure document granularly at the document level, not the container. Encryption can be applied on certain parts of a document, making it possible to have just one document that can be distributed to people each with a different level of authority. CEO Chris Combs explains all about this new product that will make a big impact on the legal industry.
There’s one man we always run into at ILTA, hard to avoid and great to talk with: Ian Levit. Levit & James is best known for their market-leading solution Best Authority but at ILTACON18 Levit & James is announcing a new product, actually two. Ian explains the ins and outs.
The last company that features in our day 1 review of ILTACON18 is Epona. Keith Valleley told us all about their new partnership with Documentaal and about all the great work they are doing with Microsoft’s Matter Center. In fact, Keith told us that Epona is making Matter Center great again!
