LoopUp, the provider of premium remote meetings and conference call technology, has opened five new offices in Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, Atlanta and Madrid. LoopUp’s software-as-a-service product is particularly popular with firms in the legal sector, for whom audio quality, security and ease-of-use are critical for their remote client meetings.
The new offices are part of a multi-year expansion strategy and will allow the company to expand its distribution into the legal technology market, as well as to better serve its rapidly expanding client base in these locations.
Steve Flavell, co-CEO, commented “These cities are sensible locations as we increase our US and European footprint as they have a high concentration of professional services firms and multinationals. We’re committed to providing services to our global customers by delivering account management and customer support locally wherever we can.”
LoopUp entered the conference calling market in 2006 with offices in London and San Francisco. Now, more than 2,000 businesses around the world trust LoopUp with their remote meetings, a business-critical activity to so many legal firms. The company already sell to clients in 25 different countries from its 17 office locations, and over the next 18 months, plans to open more offices across the US, Europe and Asia-Pacific.
By providing local account management and user support wherever possible, LoopUp can better understand its customers’ local needs and priorities and deliver optimal support to both account administrators and end users.
To improve the meeting experience for global users, a range of languages have been added to the LoopUp product and user experience, which has previously only been available in English. The initial set of languages includes Spanish, French, German and Swedish, with more to be added later in 2019.
To staff these new offices, LoopUp recruited 14 new sales executives and account managers to join its innovative ‘Pod’ commercial structure. New hires were put through three months of intensive training. These ‘Pod Academy’ graduates are joined by 30 new junior Business Development Associates recruited through the Group’s established graduate recruitment program. All new employees were hired locally.
