The number of phishing emails targeting firms has increased by over 600% since the end of February as cyber-criminals look to capitalise on the fear and uncertainty generated by the COVID-19 pandemic, according to Barracuda Networks. While firms try very hard to keep their own system safe from phishing emails, they often pay less attention to the reputational damage that might be caused if one of their clients falls victim to a phishing attack purporting to come from their domain.
