BRYTER, the leading no-code service automation platform announces its partnership with global law firm Reed Smith, further enhancing the firm’s capabilities for delivering some of the most sophisticated legal services across the globe.
The partnership enriches Reed Smith’s existing offering from its award-winning in-house practice innovation team who use market-leading technology to map and automate legal processes for the firm’s clients.
Reed Smith began working with BRYTER in 2020 to pilot an initial range of services which has successfully led to the creation of new digital solutions for clients that are now being extended throughout the firm and will be integrated with its Oursite client collaboration portal.
In addition to benefitting the firm’s clients, the BRYTER platform will enhance the Legal Technology Summer Associate Program – an innovative placement that combines the traditional summer legal experience with a technology focus. This program sees associates work with Reed Smith lawyers and the firm’s innovation team to develop creative and innovative, technology-driven solutions – further equipping lawyers with the skills they need for the legal practice of tomorrow.
BRYTER’s CEO and co-founder, Michael Grupp said: “Law firms like Reed Smith are market leaders in how they approach legal service delivery. Using BRYTER they can focus on providing real value to their clients through cost-effective, technology-enabled solutions that meet more of their clients’ needs. Part of being able to deliver these solutions means having the right expertise, and again Reed Smith demonstrates the foresight in incorporating technology into legal training and work experience.”
Adam Curphey, Reed Smith’s Innovation Engagement Senior Manager, said: “We’re delighted to be working with BRYTER to give us increased flexibility in providing innovative solutions to our clients, who continue to expect more than the traditional legal advice. This platform will allow us to create products bespoke to our clients, to help improve their businesses, as well as improving how we operate internally.
“Our aim is to remain at the forefront of developments in the market by making innovation a part of our everyday practice, whether that is in the service we offer to our clients or in the way we train and educate our lawyers.”
The partnership with BRYTER is the latest initiative in Reed Smith’s global push for innovation. Last October, the firm launched its Innovation Seasons program where the firm spends three months dedicated to a single innovation theme in order to provide lawyers, business services staff and clients across the globe a grounding in innovation concepts.
