iTrain Legal, technology training experts providing support for law firms globally, today announced that Vanessa Theaker will head up the company's Product Development Division.
The coronavirus pandemic pushed law firms to rapidly adopt new behaviours and make implementing legal technology a priority. As working practices shifted and the ability to work remotely became a necessity, so too did the need for online training and support. In response to these shifting conditions, iTrain Legal have rapidly expanded their Product Development division. Headed by Vanessa Theaker, who joined the company in 2021, the team is responsible for developing the iTrain Ali chatbot, online Learning Management System (LMS) and associated guides, videos and eLearning.
Vanessa, who has over twenty years’ experience within the legal sector, has been building her team and product portfolio for the last twelve months. She commented, “I’ve really enjoyed the challenge over the past year of building up a new team as well as starting to shape our learning content and products. The team draws on a range of experience and skills, with fresh ideas and enthusiasm in abundance.”

The innovative digital learning assistant iTrain Ali is unique and provides support to people 24/7. It allows firms to proactively engage with their people to reinforce learning or communicate change. The chatbot can be used either stand alone or in combination with the iTrain fully functioning LMS. Both products utilise a library of legal technology specific learning and support material, including guides, videos and eLearning.
The Product Development Team have so far developed learning support content covering iManage Work, Aderant, pdfDocs, Microsoft Teams, Word and Outlook, with a whole host of other exciting content planned for the rest of this year and beyond.
