Kroll Ontrack, a leading provider of ediscovery and data recovery products and services, today announced it is adding kCura's Relativity to its ediscovery.com platform, alongside its ediscovery.com Manage, Review, and Collect tools.
As a Relativity Premium Hosting partner, Kroll Ontrack now gives law firms and corporations review tool flexibility based on the needs of the project while also making it easier to consolidate their project portfolio.
“With the launch of ediscovery.com in October 2013, Kroll Ontrack announced its goal to transform ediscovery from an art – something that is recreated with every project – to a science – something that is predictable, reliable, and efficient, with higher quality results and increased cost efficiencies. Key to this transformation is repeatability. Repeatability is achieved when ediscovery is managed as a portfolio, not disjointed projects, and through a unified technology platform,” said Dean Hager, president and CEO, Kroll Ontrack. “By partnering with kCura to offer Relativity, Kroll Ontrack is making it easier for both law firms and corporations to bring together their ediscovery projects with Kroll Ontrack and manage them as a portfolio.”
With the addition of Relativity to the ediscovery.com platform, law firms and corporations will be able to choose whatever tool meets their needs throughout a project, based on workflow requirements, analytics, user preferences and general needs. Regardless of their solution, they can now benefit from Kroll Ontrack’s global footprint, case management experience, and world-class security. In addition, with the ediscovery.com Project Wall, users have direct web access and visibility into the work being done on all of their matters. Case team members can track project updates posted by the system or other team members, pose questions to the team, and provide clear work direction, giving them the ability to manage their entire portfolio in real-time from any device.
“Each and every ediscovery project is unique and different, with different parameters and deadlines, perhaps requiring different technology functionality,” said John Grancarich, vice president of product management, Kroll Ontrack. “With the addition of Relativity to the ediscovery.com solution, our team is equipped with a flexible toolkit and the expertise to recommend the best approach to solve each unique customer challenge.”
"We're excited that Relativity will be such an important part of Kroll Ontrack’s portfolio," said Andrew Sieja, president and CEO, kCura. “With Relativity, Kroll Ontrack can provide their clients a comprehensive ediscovery solution — one that’s fully featured, flexible and scalable enough to meet all of their ediscovery needs."
