Industry veteran to manage sales and marketing
Global 7 Technologies (G7T), the creators of Global Discovery Network (GDN), a new generation, cloud based electronic business data discovery and review platform, today announced the appointment of industry veteran, well known entrepreneur and technology expert Charles Skamser as senior vice president responsible for sales and marketing.
“We are very excited to have someone of Charles’ caliber join our team,” stated Brad Mixner, CEO of Global 7 Technologies. “His industry knowledge, expertise and record of success in eDiscovery and information governance technology development, sales, marketing and channel development make him the perfect addition to our team,” continued Mixner.
Skamser has established himself as an international thought leader, speaker, author and sales and marketing expert in eDiscovery, information governance, cloud computing and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS). He comes to Global 7 Technologies from eDiscovery Solutions Group (eDSG), where he served as CEO and senior analyst since January 2009. In addition, he serves as a council member for Gerson Lehrman Group where he provides consulting on litigation services, eDiscovery, information governance, big data analytics and cloud computing. Prior to eDSG, Skamser served in various senior sales and marketing positions within the litigation technology and consulting industry. Before entering litigation technology, Skamser was a senior executive with several leading enterprise software technology companies and was a pioneer in cloud computing and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) as CEO of one of the first public Cloud Service Providers (CSP).

In his new role, Skamser will be responsible for driving further the evolution of GDN, building a national sales organization, expanding and managing Global 7 Technology’s global network of partners targeting law firms and corporations with offerings in eDiscovery and information governance, and general investigation and forensics of electronic business data.
