Gavel & Gown Software Inc. announces that its cloud-based practice management software for lawyers Amicus Cloud now features document assembly functionality that lets lawyers save a great deal of time by automating their document creation process.
Document Assembly enables users to combine Client and File data with standard text to create professional legal documents and emails in a matter of seconds.
Since Amicus Cloud’s launch in October 2012, features and enhancements have been added regularly, continually heightening its value to the attorneys who depend on it every day to run their practice.
“Amicus Cloud has once again taken cloud practice management to a higher level.” said Ron Collins, President of Gavel & Gown Software. “This is far more than ‘fill-in-the-blanks’. Amicus Cloud has true document assembly, allowing the creation of intelligent templates that change the document depending on the facts of your case. Legal documents need different clauses for different circumstances, and the wording of those clauses varies, depending on the details. A lawyer’s legal intelligence is what makes these decisions. With Amicus Cloud you can now build this intelligence into a template, which is why it is such a valuable, time saving feature for our users.”
Amicus Cloud’s document templates can be created in Microsoft Word, or right in your browser. Finished documents are saved as Word or PDF, with full support for all the formatting, graphics and more needed by professional legal documents. Thanks to Amicus Cloud’s unique email capabilities, finished documents can also be emails that are sent straight from Amicus, saving time and enhancing your professional communications.
Amicus Cloud is a subscription service, so all users of it receive all these new features immediately.
