Xact Data Discovery (XDD), a leading international provider of discovery and data management services for law firms, corporations and government agencies, announced today it has acquired an equity stake in C:DOX, a Cleveland, Ohio-based provider of litigation document services.
The partnership provides XDD with a presence in the Cleveland legal market while offering C:DOX clients an expanded array of electronic discovery and managed review services.
Founded in 2005 by Marty Bohn and Bob DeStefanis, both veterans of the document management and litigation support services industries, C:DOX serves the Cleveland and Akron legal markets with a unique blend of expertise and unparalleled service. C:DOX offers litigation support services from document scanning and photocopying to trial exhibits, archive scanning solutions and facilities management services. C:DOX is well known in its market for Whole Inch Pricing (WIP), an exact all-inclusive pricing model.
XDD provides a full range of discovery services, from forensic data collection through document review, to legal and corporate clients nationwide. Earlier this year XDD introduced its managed review service offering and recently opened a second review center. The company’s footprint currently includes 17 offices in the United States and two in India.
The agreement allows C:DOX to offer XDD’s entire suite of electronic discovery services, including both domestic and offshore review, under the banner “C:DOX eDiscovery, an XDD-powered Solution.”
“Partnering with C:DOX is ideal for XDD’s strategic expansion into the Cleveland market. While we now have the means to better serve existing XDD clients locally, we can also leverage C:DOX’s reputation for exceptional customer service to provide our full suite of discovery and review services to the broader Cleveland area legal and corporate markets,” says Xact Data Discovery CEO Robert Polus.
“We take pride in the high-quality service upon which C:DOX has built our decade-long reputation and are excited to continue that tradition while offering our clients a broader array of e-discovery services with Xact Data Discovery,” says C:DOX President Marty Bohn. “This partnership is a valuable complement to our organization, given our shared philosophy in delivering innovative solutions and superior customer service,” he adds.
