kCura Named a ‘Leader’ in Gartner’s 2014 E-Discovery Magic Quadrant

kCura, developers of Relativity—web-based software for the collection, processing, review, analysis, and production of electronic evidence during litigation and investigations—were recently positioned in the ‘Leaders’ quadrant of the Gartner 2014 Magic Quadrant for E-Discovery Software report.

Gartner’s report represents an analysis of 22 e-discovery providers. All providers were evaluated based on their completeness of vision and ability to execute. According to the report, “Gartner used market adoption, customer experience, and the frequency of appearance on shortlists to validate the strength of an offering. Adjacent technologies, such as information management, analytics, archiving, and the functionality known in the market as TAR or predictive coding also were factors we considered, although having these features or products was not enough on its own to get a vendor into the Leaders quadrant.”

Additionally, the report identified that “Leaders must also show a good mix of corporate, law firm, and global jurisdiction buying centers among their clients.”
