KwikTag QC locks in the last key step in best practice scanning by fully applying records retention-destruction policy for scanned paper within the security of an accountable, auditable process that ensures successful scanning of each individual document. KwikTag QC, an optional module for the patented KwikTag Legal enterprise scanning platform, provides these services under configurable software control.
In an integrated workflow, usually performed in the Records Department, KwikTag QC seamlessly affirms that a paper document has been scanned and captured to the DMS, performs image quality control, and applies the paper record’s disposition regarding whether the paper should be shredded per firm policy, returned to the attorney, or retained in records. Kwiktag QC provides a streamlined verification of these essential quality controls:
