Document Generation Platform-as-a-service enables the embedding of HotDocs interviews in third-party applications
HotDocs, the market leader in document generation software, announced today that it will be showcasing HotDocs Cloud Services at ILTA 2014, which runs August 19-21 at the Gaylord Hotel in Nashville.
The hosted platform, which was released earlier this year, enables organizations of any size to experience powerful, browser-based document generation on a subscription basis.
“Perhaps the most compelling part of HotDocs Cloud Services,” commented Leonard DuCharme, the company’s Chief Strategy Officer, “is the custom HotDocs experience Cloud Services affords law firms through its web services API. Using a simple Iframe approach, law firms—or any organization—can embed HotDocs interviews into their own web applications or web pages.” DuCharme went on to highlight improved functionality for mobile devices as an enhancement to be available with the release of version 11.1, due out in October of 2014.
In correlation with the release of Cloud Services, HotDocs received a number of accolades, including a “best-of-breed” mention by Gartner for niche ECM vendors in 2013, a Gartner Cool Vendor distinction for content management in 2014, and an International Business of the Year award in 2014. “HotDocs is not only the clear thought leader in the document generation market,” added DuCharme, “it’s also the largest vendor of document generation technologies, having more than 1 million users worldwide.”
ILTA’s most recent technology survey showed HotDocs having a 60% market share among law firms that use document generation software. The ILTA 2013 survey showed that the closest competitor to HotDocs had a 5% market share.
Demonstrations on other HotDocs products will be available at the HotDocs booth (#424), including HotDocs Developer, the industry’s state-of-the-art development platform, and HotDocs Document Services, a SaaS application that makes browser-based document generation on the HotDocs platform available to enterprises of any size on a subscription basis.
