Corporations, government and academic institutions may now join EDRM free of charge
EDRM, the leading standards organization for the electronic discovery market, today announced a revised membership fee structure. Effective immediately, consumer organizations – corporations, governmental entities and academic institutions – may join EDRM and enjoy full membership benefits free of charge. The structure for providers and law firms remains unchanged.
The revised fee structure serves to encourage greater participation among consumer organizations, which are both valued contributors and the primary beneficiaries of EDRM work product.
Since its inception nearly a decade ago, EDRM has welcomed the participation of practitioners from all areas of the e-discovery market. Legal and technology professionals from law firms and a variety of software and service providers have collaborated with members of the consumer legal market to develop practical tools and resources that benefit the industry as a whole. EDRM members representing consumer organizations bring a unique perspective and offer considerable contributions to all facets of the organization, making their participation especially valuable.
