Thomson Reuters Elite, a leading global provider of enterprise business management solutions (EBMS) to professional services firms, today announced several successful deployments of the latest version ProLaw since its release at the end of the second quarter of 2014.

More than 100 clients have taken advantage of the enhanced functionality of ProLaw 2014.1, designed to optimize productivity and improve profitability. An additional 25 clients have made the decision to upgrade their existing ProLaw solutions to the newest Microsoft .NET version, gaining critical insight to the real-time performance indicators ProLaw 2014.1 provides.

“The success that ProLaw 2014.1 has achieved in these first three months is exceptional, and I am thrilled that both new and existing ProLaw clients are choosing to take advantage of its enhanced business intelligence functionality,” said Elisabet Hardy, vice president of Product Management at Thomson Reuters Elite. “ProLaw 2014.1 enables clients to instantly assess the financial health of their firms, with high-level performance metrics displaying up-to-the moment data.”

New dashboards in ProLaw 2014.1 enable management to access financial data in real-time through easy-to-read charts and graphs in a single view, while lawyers can more effectively manage client relationships and monitor individual performance against firm expectations. Integration with ClientPay enables firms to easily accept credit cards for faster client payments. Additional enhancements include infrastructure improvements, as well as new back office and collections functionalities.

“ProLaw 2014.1 equips my firm’s partners with the tools they need to save time and more effectively manage our firm,” said Carolyn Smallwood, CLM, chief financial officer, of Ezra Brutzkus Gubner LLP. “The management dashboard allows them to see the big picture of our firm’s key performance metrics, as well as monitor emerging trends. ProLaw 2014.1 provides the advantages our firm needs to compete with much larger firms and exceed client expectations.”
