Rocket Matter, creator of the premier total law firm management software in the cloud, today announces the ability to synch contact records with desktop-based Microsoft Outlook. Contact integration comes on the heels of e-mail integration between the popular mobile legal and office software, and is the second stage in a comprehensive Outlook package by the Florida-based company.
Over the course of the next year, Rocket Matter will continue to add modules to its Outlook integration so that law firms may work seamlessly with their preferred desktop and cloud applications.
Rocket Matter Outlook Contacts Synching“Outlook is still very much a system of record for many law firms,” says Larry Port, CEO of Rocket Matter. “Based on the positive response of our email integration, we’re excited to add contacts as the next step towards total Outlook integration.”
Users can synch all of their Outlook contacts to Rocket Matter or add one at a time. Updates to all synched contacts in Outlook are reflected automatically in Rocket Matter. And when a contact is added in Outlook, the contact is pushed to the cloud-based legal software.
Since Rocket Matter operates not only on the web but on mobile platforms as well, including a newly launched iPad Edition, contacts in Outlook will be available on the web, iPhone, Android, and iPad versions of the legal software.
Law firms using Exchange Server can leverage Rocket Matter’s Outlook integration as well. Since the communication occurs between Rocket Matter and the Outlook client application, any information synched with Exchange server can be uploaded to the Rocket Matter cloud.
