Board to play important role in the future direction of products and services
Thomson Reuters, the world’s leading provider of intelligent information for businesses and professionals, announced today that it has formed a consultation board to help inform the future direction of the company’s products and services for the in-house legal sector in the UK.
The consultation board brings together highly experienced General Counsel and senior in-house counsel from companies across a wide range of business sectors and sizes, including; Barclays, British Gas, Carillion, Canada Life, Centerparcs, Halebury, Lloyds Group, Rentokil Initial, Vodafone and VPS Group.
The consultation board will play an important role in ensuring Thomson Reuters remains at the leading edge of the in-house legal sector and continues to meet the needs and expectations of customers. It will also provide board members with the opportunity to gain a fresh perspective or a new approach to some of the most pressing challenges facing in-house counsel.
“The formation of the consultation board comes at a time of unprecedented change in the way in which legal services are delivered,” said Lucinda Case, vice president strategy at the Legal business of Thomson Reuters. “The rise of alternative delivery models and the availability of technology have led to greater choice in how today’s General Counsel run their legal teams. The consultation board will discuss these and other market developments to determine how they might be used to best effect by in-house legal teams.”
The consultation board held its inaugural meeting on January 21, 2015. To learn more about the in-house consultation board, or about other practice specific consultation boards run by Thomson Reuters, please visit: http://uk.practicallaw.com/about/uk-consultation-boards
