As reported just before Christmas, Thomson Reuters Elite has taken the decision to place its Envision system in maintenance mode. However, following discussions with Elite, long-standing UK partner Opes Consulting is now set to offer on-going consulting services, custom development and project help to the Envision client base.
Opes will be taking on four key staff to ensure continuity and peace of mind for users: Lynne Bichan will join as CRM and project manager for Envision; Fiona Soutar as applications consultant; Mark McCallum as technical consultant; and Keith Duncan as case/workflow consultant.
Opes founder and managing director Kevin Smith comments: ‘There was understandably quite a reaction when Elite made its announcement so we hope this news will allay concerns. We know that the Envision base is still an active one, that they’re still keen to leverage their system; there’s also quite a bit of merger activity in that sector, so it’s vital they know that there is an expert, experienced resource on tap to assist in all areas.”
