DTI, a global legal process outsourcing (LPO) company providing eDiscovery, managed services and litigation support, announced today the expansion of the DTI suite of eDiscovery solutions fully integrated with Relativity.
The new tools announced by DTI this week focus on accuracy and efficiency in the final phases of eDiscovery document production. In large eDiscovery cases, it is not uncommon to produce responsive documents in multiple waves or productions, and in some systems it is difficult to prevent the repeat production of a document previously produced or inadvertent production of a document identified as privileged. Many practitioners use time-consuming manual QC processes and auditing or run and review queries to confirm production accuracy.
Designed specifically to address this challenge, the new Conflict Assessment Application from DTI allows practitioners to quickly run a production conflicts search to identify potential conflicts or errors in the document set prior to production. Easy to set up and use, the conflicts assessment tool is seamlessly integrated within Relativity. Its use reduces effort and cost while increasing confidence that productions are complete and accurate.
The new DTI Privilege Log Assembler eases another time-consuming step, the laborious task of compiling and annotating a list of privileged documents. The Privilege Log Assembler supports greater consistency in privileged document logging with the creation and reuse of standardized privilege codes and annotations. It is easy to check on consistency within family groups and conversation threads. Highly detailed privilege logs may be created, edited and stored within Relativity, freeing the case team and counsel to focus on the case and rely on Relativity for privilege log creation and management.
“We see Relativity as a platform for our partners to solve their customers’ day-to-day challenges by extending its functionality, and a way for them to really showcase their expertise by extending the software,” said Andrew Sieja, president and CEO of kCura. “DTI is a longtime partner, and these new applications are just a piece of the extensive overall support they’re providing their customers with Relativity.”
“DTI is proud to be in front of the challenges that our clients face and delivering integrated solutions on the eDiscovery platform that allow them to realize the savings and productivity gains that come from using high-performance software,” said Keith Conley, president of legal solutions for DTI.
