Integrations for Handshake Portal and Search now available for NetDocuments

Handshake Software, Inc., the market leading, award-winning provider of SharePoint-based products and services to the legal market, today announced the availability of NetDocuments integration for both SharePoint Portals and SharePoint Search.

Law firms can now access, work with and search NetDocuments files and documents as part of their Handshake Software suite and Microsoft SharePoint portal. Handshake offers similar integration solutions for HP Autonomy & OpenText eDOCS document management systems.

The Handshake Software - NetDocuments integration includes:

• Handshake contextualizes NetDocuments information in the portal environment by presenting client, matter and user-centered information of documents as well as financial and practice management information related to those entities.  This includes the ability to open and edit NetDocuments content right from a SharePoint page.
• SharePoint Search of NetDocuments: Handshake’s SP Bridge product allows SharePoint Search to understand the context and content of NetDocuments enabling enterprise Search of   document content from the NetDocuments cloud, Local Document store while enforcing, security information.
