HotDocs and K2 announce technology partnership
Global News

HotDocs logoHotDocs, the global leader in document assembly technology, and K2, an industry leader in business application platforms and solutions, which recently secured more than $100 million in venture capital from Francisco Partners, have today announced a technology partnership that will provide end users with industrial strength BPM and sophisticated document automation as one complete solution.

K2 and HotDocs have mutual customers in and both work across a wide range of sectors, including financial services, legal, insurance, government and corporate.  Driving operational efficiency is a key benefit of both HotDocs and K2; together the two technologies will work seamlessly to reduce risk, enhance compliance and generate substantial cost/time savings wherever there is a need for the production of complex documentation as part of a business process workflow.

Graham Penman, Technical Manager EMEA at HotDocs, said:  “The HotDocs Service Broker for K2 harnesses the unique K2 SmartObject technology, enabling the inclusion of HotDocs’ powerful document assembly software as part of K2 workflows.  For existing and new customers – as well as HotDocs and K2 partners – the integration between the two products offers enormous benefit by providing an off-the-shelf solution for document driven workflow.”

For clients, the integration between the two leading technologies will provide a BPM and document automation hub that require little or no software development to get started.  With the two systems working from one data source, duplicate data entry is eliminated – reducing risk and allowing easier management and maintenance of all content.  The flexibility in both HotDocs and K2 means that any document output can be profiled to SharePoint, HP Worksite or any other document management system.

Andrew Murphy, Technical Services Director EMEA at K2, commented:  “It is great to have such seamless integration between HotDocs and K2.  Bringing the power of K2 forms and workflow automation alongside HotDocs enterprise document assembly provides fantastic capability for solving real world business problems through modern business apps.”

To officially launch the integration, K2 and HotDocs are hosting a joint webinar on 15th July to outline the benefits of the HotDocs Service Broker for K2 and demonstrate how the integration works.  Anyone interested in attending should visit http://content.k2.com/email_hd_1435075739195 and register.
