LexisNexis CaseMap Now Integrated with Lexis Advance

LexisNexis® Legal & Professional today announced the launch of a new version of the CaseMap® solution, the company’s award-winning case analysis software, which is now fully integrated with the Lexis Advance® legal information service.

This new integration provides users of the CaseMap software with one-click access to a wide range of valuable content and insights from Lexis Advance, the dynamic, next generation legal information product, delivering impressive time savings and improved workflow.

With this new release and a LexisNexis® research subscription, the entire breadth of the LexisNexis research content is available directly from within CaseMap.  This empowers users to do the following:

• Research both legal issues and facts in federal and state cases and save this information directly to a firm’s CaseMap files;
• Validate their findings by leveraging the Shepard’s® Citations Service;
• Locate and research expert witnesses with access to extensive testimony and deposition history;
• Conduct fact witness research and run background checks;
• Retrieve LexisNexis® Company Dossier reports on more than 80 million U.S. and international companies;
• Conduct due diligence with access to federal and state court dockets and documents;
• Research jury verdicts and settlements;
• Uncover real and personal property owned by individuals, businesses or other legal entities such as trusts; and
• Review profiles of judges, opposing counsel and other litigation professionals.

The CaseMap software helps litigation teams bring together the relevant facts, documents, cast of characters and issues of each case – as well as legal and investigative research – into a centralized repository for improved case assessment. This allows users to maximize case knowledge, see connections they might otherwise miss and better collaborate with their colleagues on a matter.
