ZyLAB, leading provider of eDiscovery and Intelligent Information Governance solutions is proud to announce that Women in eDiscovery (WiE), a non-profit organization that brings together businesswomen interested in technology related to the legal industry, has named Kaylee Walstad as Regional Director for the Central Region.
Kaylee is ZyLAB’s Sales Director for the Central Region and Co-Director of the Minneapolis-St Paul Chapter of Women in eDiscovery. She has been a Board of Directors member since 2012.
Kaylee Walstad stated; “The Women in eDiscovery organization is a vibrant group truly desiring to further their education in the eDiscovery space as well as personal and business growth. Our chapters are growing overall, with new chapters starting across the country. I am looking forward to working with the Central Region chapters to assist them in any way I can in increasing their membership and adding new sponsor partnerships.”
Kaylee will replace Jackie Rosborough in the Regional Director role. Jackie has accepted a position as an Executive Director of Women in eDiscovery and had this to say about the organization’s appointment of Kaylee: “WiE is an organization very near and dear to my heart, so accepting the Executive Director role was an incredible honor. My biggest concern was handing over my responsibilities as Regional Director. It gives me great comfort to know that the Central Region of chapters is in good hands with Kaylee taking the reins. Kaylee has an incredible enthusiasm for the mission of WiE, and I have every confidence that her spirit and drive will be a huge benefit to the Central Region and the organization as a whole.
Kaylee has a solid career in eDiscovery. As ZyLAB’s Sales Director and previously major account manager for Ricoh Legal, she develops complex discovery strategies for large litigations and investigations for corporate legal departments and law firms. Kaylee earned her certification from the Association of Certified Ediscovery Specialists in 2014.
Kaylee continued, “I love all aspects of eDiscovery and I thoroughly enjoy working with experts in this field and assisting companies to streamline evidence handling to realize efficiencies in responding to discovery, investigations, or compliance requests. I’m very honored to accept this Director’s role with Women in eDiscovery and am looking forward to serving within this region and beyond.”
In her current role as Sales Director for ZyLAB, Kaylee works hand in hand with Corporate, Government and AMLAW 500 firms to assist in bringing exciting new technologies in-house to handle governance of their data, collection strategies, legal holds, processing, review and production.
