Time capture specialist Rekoop has announced a major investment in its IT infrastructure following 18 months of unprecedented growth. Partnering with leading managed hosting provider UKFast, Rekoop is spending £0.5m on its own private Cloud to develop a highly resilient, scalable and secure platform for the delivery of its applications.
With its recent emergence as the global market leader and a sustained win rate across the UK legal top and mid-tiers, Rekoop was keen to refresh and strengthen its data centre; moving to a fully managed private Cloud was seen as providing the optimum mix of control, capacity and cost-efficiency.
Explains Chief Information Officer Phil Ashworth: “With more users coming on stream every month, it’s essential that we maintain service standards and the integrity of our application delivery. UKFast offers a privately-owned, ISO27001-accredited data centre, a top notch support operation and a robust approach to security and availability.
