ILTA Announces Inaugural Microsoft Office 365 in Legal Conference

ILTA, the premier volunteer-led, staff-managed peer networking association for legal technology professionals, will hold its ninth annual SharePoint event on June 8-9 in Baltimore. Previously focused on educating legal technology professionals on the best business uses for SharePoint, new in 2016 is the addition of rich educational content dedicated to Microsoft Office 365.

The inaugural ILTA SharePoint || Office 365 Symposium includes an entire track dedicated to what law firms and corporate legal operations need to do to prepare for their switch to Office 365.

Specific Office 365 sessions will include:

• Office 365 Differences: Their Impact On Your Users’ Experiences and Ways To Embrace or Erase Them. Our panel will demystify what’s new about Office 365, help you develop strategies for predictable planning and reveal opportunities to leverage the platform’s much-welcomed innovations.
• Is Office 365 Right for My Firm? Gain insight into what you can do to evaluate the various parts of Office 365 in light of your current systems, how to prepare for a migration, how to handle change management, how to promote adoption and how to handle security and document management.
• Stories of Innovation: Leveraging Office 365 Tools Today and Tomorrow. How can you leverage Office 365 tools to innovate and differentiate? Experts will share stories of how Office 365 tools are being leveraged in business today and what will carry over to tomorrow.
• Is Office 365 Secure in the Legal World? Are you intrigued by Office 365 but concerned about security, e-discovery and data ownership? Microsoft’s director of security, risk and compliance will address these concerns.
