TutorPro Learning Management System Moves to HTML5
Global News

TutorPro logoTutorPro has taken the decision to move the TutorPro LMS from HTML4 to HTML5. TutorPro is a leading supplier of Learning Management Systems in the USA and Europe, as well as a cutting-edge corporate training content creation tool – Live Content Studio.

The TutorPro LMS is used by law-firms, corporate- and government clients worldwide.

TutorPro has taken this decision following Microsoft ceasing support for Internet Explorer 8, 9, and 10. TutorPro endeavors to always work collaboratively with clients and so while we had clients using browsers not compatible with HTML5 we chose to continue supporting that IT infrastructure. However by June 2017, over a year after Microsoft ceased support for these browsers, the TutorPro LMS will move to HTML5.

Claire Loram, VP Client Success at TutorPro said: “Team TutorPro is so excited about this development. Our client family regularly tell us that we have a dynamic and feature-rich Learning Management System. We are aware, however, that user-experience is vital to the success of an LMS and this is somewhat limited by HTML4. This move will allow the look and feel of our LMS to match the level of features that it already offers. We didn’t want to make this move when it might have excluded some clients but we wanted to make it before our clients were clamoring for it. We believe we’ve managed to strike that balance and look forward to releasing something really exciting to you all in June 2017”.
