And Re-engineered XFA PDF Form Management
DocsCorp, a global leader in PDF software and workflows, today announced the release of pdfDocs 4.4, a major update to its PDF management software which is relied upon by hundreds of thousands of users in legal, accounting and government organizations across the globe.
pdfDocs 4.4 offers important changes including improvements to DMS integration, dynamic XFA PDF forms handling, streamlined interaction with Microsoft’s Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
Improved DMS Integration: Integration with document management systems has always been a key strength of pdfDocs and this version brings substantial improvements for users of iManage, NetDocuments, SharePoint, and OpenText Content Server. UK customers will appreciate the new built-in support for Laserform documents.
Re-engineered Handling of Dynamic XFA PDF Forms: In pdfDocs 4.4, the handling of dynamic XFA PDF forms has been completely re-engineered. Users can now open, work with and save these files.
PDF Editing Abilities: Significant improvements have also been made in the editing of PDFs including the ability to flatten PDFs and copy to/from clipboard.
Streamlined Integration with Microsoft Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint: Users will enjoy a better and more streamlined interaction with Outlook thanks to a new right-click on attachment workflow that opens attachments directly in pdfDocs. pdfDocs now also retains hyperlinks and bookmarks from Excel and PowerPoint, preserving formatting and saving users time adding them in retrospectively.
