Janders Dean's Andrew Baker and Karl Haraldsson jump ship to join LexPredict

LexPredict logoLexPredict is excited to announce the addition of Andrew Baker and Karl Haraldsson to LexPredict. Mr. Baker joins us as VP and Global Head of Services. Mr. Haraldsson joins as Manager of Legal Analytics.

Both based in Chicago, Mr. Baker and Mr. Haraldsson will advise LexPredict’s new and existing clients, including Fortune 500 companies and Am Law 200 firms, on strategy, service delivery modernization, data strategy and analytics, and process improvement.

In his new role, Mr. Baker will lead consulting services, advising law firms and corporate legal departments on initiatives designed to enhance the management, receipt, and delivery of legal services. Mr. Baker brings market-leading expertise in an array of areas including service delivery optimization, data strategy, systems design, legal process improvement, legal project management, organizational design, and change management.

Mr. Baker has over a decade of experience leading some of the most progressive initiatives in the legal industry. Andrew has held senior roles at Janders Dean, SeyfarthLean Consulting, Seyfarth Shaw, and Reed Smith. Projects that he has led have garnered recognition from the International Legal Technology Association (ILTA), the Financial Times, LegalTech News, and the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC). He and his work have been referenced in McKinsey Quarterly, The Lawyer, Boston Business Journal, the Chicago Tribune, and Corporate Counsel, among others. Andrew frequently speaks at legal industry events and has authored articles on legal process improvement, data analytics, experience design, and Agile solution development.

Karl Haraldsson will oversee the delivery of analytics services for our broad range of clients. He will work with clients to design and implement their strategies around data and process. Mr. Haraldsson’s areas of expertise include legal data strategy and platform implementation; legal analytics team design; discrete analytics services; legal matter outcome modeling; legal data visualization systems; preemptive enterprise risk monitoring; and legal process improvement.

Prior to joining LexPredict, Mr. Haraldsson held central roles at Janders Dean, Seyfarth Shaw, and SeyfarthLean Consulting. Leading analytics efforts at Seyfarth, he worked with firm partners and clients to better track and report on the delivery of legal services, to forecast matter outcomes, and to pinpoint factors that impact the risk and volume of matters.
