International Legal Technology Association (ILTA) Names Board of Directors for 2017-2019

The International Legal Technology Association, commonly known as ILTA, announced today the newly elected ILTA Board of Directors for 2017-2019. ILTA is considered by many to be the premier volunteer-led, staff-managed peer networking association for those who work with legal technology in law firms and corporate and government legal operations.

Since its founding in 1980, the association’s mission has been to educate and connect members and others in the legal technology community. It represents the professional interests of more than 20,000 global peers.

The following team will guide the organization as ILTA seeks more opportunities for engagement and learning across their diverse segments of members. This Board will offer strong leadership for ILTA while fostering volunteerism and leadership throughout the organization. 

• Angela Dowd, President - Angela is the Director of Practice Innovation at Burns & Levinson, LLP has volunteered with ILTA for 10 years. • Chris Boyd, Executive Vice President - Chris is the Senior Director of Professional Services at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati PC and has volunteered with ILTA for 11 years. • Catherine Monte, Treasurer - Catherine is the Chief Knowledge Officer at Fox Rothschild LLP and has volunteered for ILTA for about 13 years. Recently she has served as a Co-Chair of the Women Who Lead affinity group and the Strategic Relationship Liaison with Thomson Reuters Practice of Law. • Ginevra Saylor, Secretary - Ginevra is the National Director of Knowledge Management, Dentons and has volunteered with ILTA for about 15 years. She has been actively volunteering in many capacities with ILTA recently as ILTA KM White Paper coordinator, 2017 Conference Committee member and much more. • Kate Cain, Director at Large - Kate is the Director of Market Intelligence at Sidley Austin LLP and is a longtime ILTA volunteer. • Rick Krzyminski, Director at Large - Rick is the Knowledge Management Director at Baker Donelson Bearman Caldwell & Berkowitz and has volunteered with ILTA for 10 years. • Skip Lohmeyer, Director at Large - Skip is the Chief Information Officer at Parker Poe Adams & Bernstein LLP and is a longtime ILTA volunteer. Angela Dowd, incoming ILTA President, notes: “I am very excited to be working with this new Board to continue to help guide and elevate the organization. Each Director brings rich diversity in experiences and a long history of serving ILTA in various roles.”

Incoming Executive Vice President, Chris Boyd, added: “I was honored to be nominated for a Director position and look forward to joining the Board and serving ILTA in this role after many years as a volunteer leader. In addition to carrying out the Board’s fiduciary responsibilities and working to steer ILTA toward a sustainable future, I welcome the opportunity to help ILTA continue growing and to increasing the value it delivers to members, business partners and other constituents.”

This Board of Directors will be seated after the ILTACON conference being held in Las Vegas August 13-17.
