Litéra Corp, a global leader in document lifecycle solutions, has announced the release of its enhanced document automation add-in for Office 365. The recent upgrades to the innova™ architecture and interface encompass the entirety of the Office 365 SharePoint platforms.
Sherry Kappel, Chief Consultant at Litéra, explains the significance of the upgrades, “This innovation means that dialogs designed for the innova™ COM add-in can be read directly from the innova™ database to generate interactive HTML5 forms on the fly. This gives organizations cloud and mobile capabilities while potentially minimizing the need for a traditional COM add-in. This means it is possible to generate first draft documents, adding multilevel numbering and ToCs on an iPad using innova!”
Since the Office 365 add-in pulls from the same database, what users will see from the desktop add-ins—the list of templates, numbering schemes, etc.—will mirror what is seen in Office 365. The Office 365 interactive interface works on any mobile device with web HTML5 access, or on desktop clients running Office 2013 or later.
Also upcoming is innova™ 7.6 Update 3: This will add further support for languages including multilingual UI, notably French, enhance multilevel styles, and improve the administrator’s ability to filter Ribbon items based on enterprise-wide security groups.
