Livingstons solicitors is a long established full service law firm providing comprehensive legal advice to businesses and private clients alongside a specialist education department providing advice for both schools and parents.
The firm has been pioneering fixed fee work and recognised that in order to meet this goal, operating efficiencies needed to be maximised. The decision was taken to update the firm’s existing electronic file management software. Whilst it had serviced the firm well over the years it now fell short of the standards the firm were wishing to achieve. An in depth review was undertaken of the firm’s goals and after researching the solutions available the firm selected Linetime’s Liberate matter management system.

Liberate will also be used for document production from a precedent bank, providing consistency across the firm. The consolidated electronic file will also assist with the firms GDPR requirements via the use of the Liberate Data Manager module.
