Freeths selects Morae Global’s Phoenix Business Solutions for seamless Cloud Document Management System integration

Phoenix Business Solutions, a Morae Global Corporation company and leading global information and document management specialist, has been selected by UK Top 50 law firm, Freeths, to upgrade its Document Management System (DMS) to iManage Cloud and Work 10.

This project is part of a comprehensive technology refresh that will support Freeths’ 1,000 users in 13 UK offices and enable the firm to realise its ambitious expansion strategy.

Freeths was looking to replace its outdated legacy system with a best of breed document management system that would integrate seamlessly with its Aderant practice management and knowledge systems. After an extensive tender process, Chief Technology Officer Richard Hodkinson and consultation partner 3Kites selected Morae Global’s Phoenix Business Solutions to install and integrate iManage Work 10 and iManage Cloud, together with Phoenix’s proprietary technology Workspace Control.

iManage Cloud and Work 10 were selected for their outstanding range of features, superior performance and market-leading data security credentials. Migrating its document management to the iManage Cloud will reduce Freeths’ IT infrastructure costs, add growth-focused scalability, and support business agility and flexible working by enabling users to access and share documents from any device in any location at any time.

Morae’s Phoenix solutions group has a strong track record of successfully managing complex IT projects in tight timescales, which made it the natural choice as the firm’s integration partner. Furthermore, the Phoenix team has developed proprietary software to enhance the iManage experience. The team’s Workspace Control solution integrates Aderant with iManage and ensures a consistent data model across both systems for security, metadata and folder management.

Morae’s Phoenix team is entrusted with designing, testing, piloting and rolling out the iManage DMS, including user training, and coordinating integration with the Aderant systems to achieve seamless technology integration across all of Freeths’ systems.
