BusyLamp, the legal operations software provider, has appointed new team members to its customer success and product development teams. These appointments include the well-known legal tech specialist Rob MacAdam who joins BusyLamp as VP of Product and Jo Guy as Senior Customer Success Manager.
Rob previously held the position of Head of Digital Products for EMEA at Ashurst LLP, an international law firm. Prior to this, Rob was VP Corporate Legal Solutions at HighQ. He joins BusyLamp to oversee the development of the newly launched platform solution, Legal.Ops.Space.
Rob MacAdam said of his appointment, “BusyLamp has a fantastic reputation in the corporate legal market. It’s an ambitious company with great leadership and an awesome team. In-house legal departments face ever growing challenges, and I'm delighted to be joining BusyLamp as VP of Product to help tackle those challenges head on and enable our customers and users to work efficiently, collaboratively and transparently to deliver real value for their organisations."
Jo Guy joins BusyLamp as Senior Customer Success Manager after over 10 years with Lloyds Banking Group. Jo was a key member of the in-house legal team that implemented BusyLamp and has hands-on experience using the legal spend management software, eBilling.Space. Jo will focus on supporting BusyLamp customers in the UK and Ireland.
Commenting on her new role, Jo says: “Having worked with BusyLamp and as a user of its software for five years, the natural next step was working for BusyLamp! From day one, I was impressed by the simplicity and clean look of the system, the can-do attitude and positive energy of all the team, and the roadmap for development. I’m really looking forward to being part of the onward journey.”
Over the last year and despite the pandemic, BusyLamp has recruited seven new people and is continuing to fill several positions in the UK and Europe. Manuel Meder, BusyLamp co-founder and joint CEO says of the new appointments: "We are proud that BusyLamp has attracted two extremely talented individuals. This great start to the year will continue as we look forward to recruiting more than 20 people in 2021."
